Behind the Deception: Chriz Nickel’s (aka Christian Nickel) Sinister Fraud and Perjury Campaign – Part 1

What Happened?

Christian Nickel, also known as “Chriz Nickel”, has come under scrutiny for his efforts to conceal a checkered past, specifically involving allegations of securities fraud tied to his activities in Dubai. BehindMLM’s investigative review reveals a web of deceit centering around Nickel’s role in the controversial MLM venture, Be Infinity. The venture presented itself as a lucrative investment opportunity, promising high returns with little transparency regarding the risks involved. Many investors were lured into the scheme under misleading pretenses, only to end up facing substantial financial losses.

Be Infinity, the MLM venture Nickel was associated with, leveraged the allure of rapid wealth and capitalized on investors’ aspirations. However, as detailed in the review, the enterprise lacked regulatory oversight and was ultimately unsustainable—an archetype of a high-risk, unregulated investment that eventually crumbled. Christian Nickel aka Chriz Nickel, as a leading figure in Be Infinity, appears to have played a pivotal role in propagating these empty promises, raising significant concerns about his credibility.

Adding to the troubling narrative, Christian Nickel’s aka Chriz Nickel’s attempts to manipulate public perception have been relentless. Employing a range of tactics, from legal threats to suppression of online content, he has actively sought to silence critics and shield his reputation. Reports of take-down requests to erase unflattering information, coupled with attempts to intimidate those who speak out, suggest a concerted strategy to rewrite history and stifle any voices that highlight his dubious past.

These actions paint a stark picture of a man intent on safeguarding his public image at any cost, prioritizing concealment over accountability. This pattern of behavior not only underscores his unwillingness to address his past wrongdoings but also raises serious questions about his current and future endeavors. Any potential investors or partners are urged to tread cautiously, given the apparent lengths to which Christian Nickel will go to protect his interests, rather than address the harm caused by his past ventures.

Chriz Nickel’s strategy of censorship and narrative control is emblematic of a broader issue seen with many high-profile figures in the MLM world—those who prioritize their own gain while sidestepping responsibility. As more information emerges, it’s increasingly evident that efforts to hide the truth have only brought further scrutiny to his activities, making transparency and ethical conduct the key concerns for anyone engaging with his future ventures.

For a more comprehensive look at Christian Nickel’s aka Chriz Nickel’s involvement in Be Infinity and his attempts to obscure his history, the full story can be explored in-depth here.

Lumen, on the other hand, is an independent research initiative dedicated to studying takedown notices and other legal demands related to online content removal. The project, which operates under the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, plays a crucial role in tracking and understanding the broader implications of such requests.

What was Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel trying to hide?

Christian Nickel, commonly known as “Chriz Nickel,” is a figure prominently linked to several dubious ventures, particularly within the multi-level marketing (MLM) and investment scheme space. Nickel gained attention for his involvement in Be Infinity, an alleged investment opportunity marketed towards individuals looking for high returns on their money. Positioned as a promising MLM-based financial platform, Be Infinity drew in investors with exaggerated claims, only for many of them to face losses when the enterprise failed to deliver on its promises.

According to the investigative review by BehindMLM, Christian Nickel’s role in Be Infinity raises numerous red flags, including securities fraud accusations tied to operations in Dubai. The venture has been accused of engaging in deceptive practices, misleading investors about the legitimacy and profitability of the opportunity. Key allegations against Be Infinity include:

  1. Securities Fraud: Be Infinity was presented as a lucrative investment opportunity without proper disclosure or regulatory compliance. Operating from Dubai, the venture lured in investors with promises of rapid returns, but these guarantees were not backed by genuine financial activities, fitting the profile of unregistered securities. The review highlights that investors were left holding the losses while the masterminds, including Nickel, benefited.
  2. Lack of Transparency and Deceptive Marketing: The allegations against Nickel also point to a lack of transparency in how funds were managed and in the overall business model. Be Infinity promised high returns with little information about actual investments, creating an environment ripe for deception. The flashy promotional materials and Nickel’s public persona were used to foster trust, but little real evidence supported the financial claims made.
  3. Aggressive Censorship Efforts: In an effort to clean up his online presence, Christian Nickel has reportedly taken steps to suppress negative news and criticism. This includes sending legal threats to websites and individuals who publish information that highlights his involvement in Be Infinity and related issues. Reports from BehindMLM suggest that he has engaged in tactics like demanding take-downs of articles and manipulating online narratives to bury adverse content. These efforts indicate a clear attempt to distance himself from the consequences of his past ventures.
  4. Complaints from Victims: Investors and former associates of Be Infinity have expressed frustration and disappointment in various forums and online reviews. Complaints range from unfulfilled promises of high returns to outright accusations of fraud, with many investors claiming that they were misled into participating based on false advertising and deceptive promises. Nickel’s name frequently appears in these complaints, which often describe him as a key promoter of the scheme who abandoned investors once things went awry.
  5. Ongoing Allegations: The allegations against Nickel are not limited to just Be Infinity. Reports indicate a pattern of behavior that includes getting involved in questionable ventures that eventually collapse, leaving investors at a loss while he and other insiders walk away with the profits. Such a history suggests a deliberate strategy to profit from deceptive practices and avoid accountability afterward.

Christian Nickel’s attempts to bury this information online show a clear intent to maintain a clean image and continue attracting individuals to his ventures. By erasing unfavorable details about his past, Nickel is seemingly attempting to move on without facing consequences, which raises significant concerns about his integrity and the legitimacy of his ongoing projects.

Additionally, under most laws, “fraud on the court” is where “a party has sentiently set in motion some unconscionable scheme calculated to interfere with the judicial system’s ability impartially to adjudicate a matter by improperly influencing the trier of fact or unfairly hampering the presentation of the opposing party’s claim or defense.”  Cox v. Burke, 706 So. 2d 43, 46 (Fla. 5th DCA 1998) (quoting Aoude v. Mobil Oil Corp., 892 F.2d 1115, 1118 (1st Cir. 1989)).

Is Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel Committing a Cyber Crime?

Faced with these limitations, some companies like Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel have gone to extreme lengths to fraudulently claim copyright ownership over a negative review in the hopes of taking it down.

Fake DMCA notices have targeted articles highlighting the criminal activity of prominent people to hide their illegal behavior. These people, which include US, Russian, and Khazakstani politicians as well as members from elite circles including the mafia and those with massive financial power, are all connected – and alleged corruption ranging from child abuse to sexual harassment is exposed when exploring evidence found at these URLs. It appears there’s a disturbing level of influence being exerted here that needs further investigation before justice can be served. Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel is certainly keeping interesting company here….

Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickels Fake DMCA

The DMCA takedown process requires that copyright owners submit a takedown notice to an ISP identifying the allegedly infringing content and declaring, under penalty of perjury, that they have a good faith belief that the content is infringing. The ISP must then promptly remove or disable access to the content. The alleged infringer can then submit a counter-notice, and if the copyright owner does not take legal action within 10 to 14 days, the ISP can restore the content.

Since these platforms are predominantly based in the U.S., the complaints are typically made under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), which requires online service providers and platforms to react immediately to reports or violations. Big Tech companies rarely have systems in place to assess the merit of each report. Instead, all bad actors need to do is clone a story, backdate it, and then demand the real thing be taken down.

Reputation Agency’s Modus Operandi

The fake DMCA notices we found always use the “back-dated article” technique. With this technique, the wrongful notice sender (or copier) creates a copy of a “true original” article and back-dates it, creating a “fake original” article (a copy of the true original) that, at first glance, appears to have been published before the true original.

Then, based on the claim that this backdated article is the “original,” the scammers send a DMCA to the relevant online service providers (e.g. Google), alleging that the ‘true’ original is the copied or “infringing” article and that the copied article is the “original,” requesting the takedown of the ‘true’ original article. After sending the DMCA request, the person who sent the wrong notice takes down the fake original URL, likely to make sure that the article doesn’t stay online in any way. If the takedown notice is successful, the disappearance from the internet of information is most likely to be legitimate speech.

How did Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel purport this DMCA Fraud?

As an integral part of this scheme, the ‘reputation management’ company hired by Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel creates a website that purports to be a ‘news’ site. This site is designed to look legitimate at a glance, but any degree of scrutiny reveals it as the charade it is.

The company copies the ‘negative’ content and posts it “on the fake ‘news’ site, attributing it to a separate author,” then gives it “a false publication date on the ‘news’ website that predated the original publication.

The reputation company then sent Google a Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice claiming the original website infringed copyright. After a cursory examination of the fake news site, Google frequently accepts the notice and delists the content.

In committing numerous offences, Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel either premeditated actions or were unaware of the consequences. Despite hiring an agency to make Google disregard any negative information about Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel, ignorance does not excuse this wrongdoing.

The Reputation Laundering

Rogue Reputation agencies use spurious copyright claims and fake legal notices to remove and obscure articles linking clients to allegations of tax avoidance, corruption, and drug trafficking. Most of these reputation agencies are based offshore, mainly in Russia, India, and Eastern Europe, and they do not worry about complying with US-based laws.

The content in all of the articles for which the fraudulent DMCA notices have been sent relates to allegations of criminal allegations, including corruption, child abuse, sexual harassment, human trafficking and financial fraud against businesses and individuals with ultra-high net worth.

Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel

In addition to the misuse of the DMCA takedown process, there is a notable absence of enforcement concerning perjury violations. The statutory requirement related to perjury is designed to deter copyright holders from submitting fraudulent or knowingly false takedown requests, as they may face legal consequences for making false declarations under penalty of perjury. However, to date, there have been no known instances of any individual being prosecuted for perjury in connection with the submission of false DMCA takedown notices.

This lack of enforcement has emboldened copyright holders to exploit the DMCA takedown process to suppress dissent, criticism, or other unfavorable content, without fear of legal repercussions.

Not In Good Company

Some of the people and businesses who have employed this tactic to remove legitimate content from Google illegally include a Spanish businessman-turned-cocaine-trafficker, Organised crime, an Israeli-Argentine banker accused of laundering money for Hugo Chávez’s regime, a French “responsible” mining company accused of tax evasion, child molesters and sexual predators. Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel is in great company ….

Ironically, the manipulation tactics used to remove public-interest information from the Internet are backfiring on Chriz Nickel aka Christian Nickel, which is now associated with the worst of this world.
